The Rundown: Perry White has been marked for death by a villain with a comical flair.

A group of reporters including Vicki Vale and Jack Ryder are meeting with Clark in Metropolis to share stories about a series of deaths with ridiculous circumstances surrounding them. Clark has been investigating the deaths not knowing they are calculated hits by the Prankster and his protégé and Perry White is the next person on the list.
After a series of failed attempts at a baseball game and a key to the city presentation thanks to Superman, Clark decides to go on the news reporting the potential suspect. A move that will make him the next target. At the same time, Jon receives an unusual visitor who has come to warn him of a bigger threat from another dimension.
The Story: Slott creates a fun, entertaining story in this issue. I like having the story connected more to Clark’s work as a journalist than to Superman and those moments are engaging. I really liked the cameos in the story as well as the tease of something bigger with Jon. The story has some interesting setup and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Norton creates some visually engaging art in the issue. I like the visual style and how distinct Clark looks compared to Superman.
