The Rundown: Static teams with Ebon to take down a familiar face.

A young Doctor Lennox shows signs of her losing her humanity early and that lack of empathy allows her to join forces with Alva to experiment on people with powers. As she continues to torture her latest patient, her plans are interrupted by Static and Ebon who discover that she is not without resources herself.

The two reluctant allies are forced to find a way to work together to take Lennox down. As she manages to keep them at bay, Virgil decides that the only way to stop her is to try to find the last piece of her humanity.

The Story: An entertaining, thrilling and thought-provoking conclusion to this arc. The characters are fleshed out and engaging. Even the villains have a presence to them that makes them compelling. There’s some great action in the issue as well as some somber moments of reflection for Virgil. I look forward to more adventures from him and this team.

The Art: Draper-Ivey delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are compelling, fun and as thrilling as the story.
