The Rundown: Darth Vader is called to a meeting to learn of a growing threat to the force and the galaxy.

Vader is called to the lava pits of Mustafar to meet with the mysterious Webbish Bog who has a vision for the Sith Lord. A vision that will foretell of a threat to not only the Empire, but the entire galaxy. A threat whose seeds were planted during the High Republic era when the Jedi were sent to put down a group of rebellious droids. A seed whose influence will grow and change as it moves across time and the galaxy finding itself in the possession of a pair of smugglers as well as Doctor Aphra.

At the same time, Luke Skywalker feels a disturbance in the Force. A disturbance that will divert the Falcon from its escort mission to investigate an uncharted moon that is the scene of a slaughter. A slaughter whose architect has returned. While the rebels and others learn of the growing threat, the Emperor has concerns about Crimson Dawn and its leaders desire for the power of the Sith.

The Story: An entertaining read and a great way to bring new readers into the current comic run of Star Wars. Each part of the story not only serves the bigger narrative but gives the reader a sense of the so far and where it is going. I love all the connections and am excited for the bigger story in the works.

The Art: All of the artists bring unique and beautifully detailed style to each of the pages and panels of the issue.
