The premiere episode of the new Star Wars animated series Resistance is almost here and the producers have released an extended peak at the characters and action fans can expect from the newest entry into the Star Wars canon.

This extended sneak peek also features some familiar faces from the world of Star Wars including General Leia, Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma. Take a look and tell me what you think.

The one-hour series premiere of Star Wars Resistance will make its debut on October 7^th on Disney Channel (10 p.m. ET/PT) and DisneyNOW. Two additional new episodes will be available via the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD, giving kids and families access to the series wherever and whenever they want to watch.
