The Rundown: On the eve of an important summit a series of mysteries befall Deep Space Nine.

Jadzia Dax is on edge in the wake of the end of the Klingon peace and increased Cardassian aggression. Deep Space Nine is set to host a diplomatic summit with the remaining worlds of the Federation coming together to discuss the Dominion threat and more. Unfortunately, Sisko and Kira are called away from the station leaving Worf in charge as strange events begin to occur.
Chief O’Brien goes missing inspecting an unresponsive holo-suite and more strange events continue on the station as security looks for him. As the delegates arrive, communications breaks down and everyone the station is effectively stuck. To make matters worse, a damaged Federation ship arrives at the station looking for Jadzia because they are convinced she is responsible for the murder of their captain.
The Story: Segura crafts an entertaining and compelling story in this issue. I like that there are overlapping mysteries throughout the story and each one has something engaging about it that makes me want to see how they connect and why. I really like the buildup of suspense throughout the issue as well as the moments of humor. Segura captures the interpersonal relationships between these characters really well.
The Art: Rosenlund creates some beautifully detailed and visually dynamic moments throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs a lot.
