The Rundown: Sisko looks for a way to escape Earth while Lore continues to miss small details in his grand plan for the universe.

Lore travels to Earth’s past in Bozeman Montana to influence Earth’s evolution into space. He then subsequently made it illegal for humans to leave the planet. An edict that Sisko breaks when he and Kahless commandeer Cochran’s warp ship along with Beverly to escape the planet and look for any help is stopping Lore.
At the same time, Lore finds his hold of the universe slipping slightly when Worf’s fleet runs into heavy resistance from the Maquis led by the assimilated Spock. Lore makes a desperate attempt to stop them by destroying a star, but the damage is done and he sends Worf on a new mission. Meanwhile, a spy in Lore’s midst sends Sato on a mission to rescue a powerful being held by Lore that could hold the key to saving the galaxy.
The Story: Cantwell crafts a dark, but deeply thrilling story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the unique take on the Star Trek universe and how Lore is learning that there is more to being a god than just the power. The cracks in his design are interesting and lead to some often tragic reveals. I continue to be engaged with this storyline and look forward to seeing how events play out.
The Art: Tinto creates some beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot and the action is great.
