The Rundown: Sisko has one chance to stop a war that threatens the Federation.

The Tzenkethi are preparing for war against the Cardassians backed by the Romulan fleet. With the Theseus caught in the middle, Sisko is looking for any way to stop the war before it spreads beyond the Tzenkethi home world. An intercepted message from Scotty and Crusher might hold the key.

After discovering the truth about the planet, Sisko has once chance to stop this war from spreading. A chance that will test everything he believes in about himself and Starfleet.

The Story: Kelly and Lanzing do a brilliant job of bringing this arc to a dramatic and intense conclusion that allow Sisko to embody everything I love about the character including his fallibility and determination. There is a great level of tension throughout the issue and I love the final reveals and what they mean for the story going forward.

The Art: To designs some beautiful scenery throughout the issue. From the epic space battles to the intense character moments, the imagery in this issue is fantastic.

Reading that took me back to my youth watching DS9 as a college student. I had friends who found ti to be so boring, but it is an underrated show.
