The Rundown: Space Ghost must face the Antimatter Man before he starts a machine that could destroy the universe.

Contra has been fully consumed by his new persona as Antimatter Man and he enlists the man who tried to kill him to complete his sabotaged device. Despite warnings about the black hole he could create with the device, Antimatter Man will not be deterred. At the same time, Jan and Jace are looking for a way to stop the villain not knowing that he is their grandfather.

Space Ghost is injured, but he works with the remaining scientists in the facility to find a way to stop Contra. After finding a possible means of negating his powers, Space Ghost confronts Antimatter Man and their battle will reveal the truth to Jan and Jace and force someone to make a powerful sacrifice to save everyone.

The Story: Pepose crafts a thrilling, inventive and entertaining story in this issue. The story has some great action throughout and a lot of heart. I like that there are deeply personal stakes for the characters in this issue and the resolution of those stakes are both exciting and tragic. A thoroughly fun, dark and engaging story.

The Art: Lau creates beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the dynamic action as well as the personal character moments.
