The Rundown: Wanda must travel to the land of dreams to save her son from Nightmare.

Wanda continues in her role as the sorcerer supreme and has decided to grant a boon to everyone on the planet. A boon that will get the attention of the avatar for Order and Chaos. Unfortunately, being chided by the avatar will have to be cut short when she receives an urgent mental message from her son Billy.

Billy finds himself trapped in the dreamscape being attacked by Nightmare who wants revenge along with Wiccan’s power. Somnus enters the realm to help Wiccan, but Nightmare uses them both to call forth ancient terrors to defeat them while Wanda arrives to fight alongside her son. The three must find a way to defeat Nightmare and his powerful offspring before they feed on the magic users.

The Story: Orlando crafts a dark, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to love seeing Wanda grow and evolve in this series in both her personality and persona as the sorcerer supreme. Orlando crafts the character to be unique in her reactions to different things as well as how she navigates her role and the council she has created. I really liked the action and adventure in the story a lot and look forward to seeing what happens next after the cliffhanger ending and what it teases.

The Art: Chang and Randal create some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue.
