While audiences prepare for the third film in the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios Spider-Man series, fans have been speculating that this will be the final appearance of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well a new interview confirms that Holland will suit up again as the wall-crawler post “Spider-Man: No Way Home”

According to a new interview with Fandango, Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal revealed that Sony Pictures collaboration with Marvel Studios will not end with No Way Home. The two will be working on another trilogy featuring Spider-Man in the MCU and Tom Holland will return. Pascal states in the interview; “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” she says. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

So there you have it. It looks like Spider-Man will continue to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that his role in the universe will expand. Pascal goes on to praise her collaboration with Kevin Feige as well as confirm that we will be seeing more about the upcoming Into the Spider-Verse sequel which she says is going to be “fantastic”.
