The Rundown: Kutter and Moon pay a visit to a powerful suspect in search of answers.

Moon arrives on the scene just in time to help his new partner out of a jam. As the two make their way to the station, they trade information about each other and begin working the case together. After returning to the station, they are met by Pilgrim who is curious about how her old badge made its way to a crime scene. When the lab returns information, the new partners make their way to Legacy Star.

After using their credentials to get into the building, they confront the head of the organization Archie Gates who seems to know a lot about them. As the three of them trade insults back and forth, Kutter decides to bring Gates in for questioning regarding his connection to the case. A prospect that might be harder than it looks when his security forces arrive.

The Story: Bendis crafts a fun, entertaining story in this issue. I really like the dynamic between these two characters and look forward to seeing how that relationship grows, evolves and gets tested. I really enjoyed the return to this world and the characters within it. Bendis does some great world building throughout the issue and I am excited to see where the story goes next.

The Art: Michael Avon Oeming delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and beautiful details within each page and panel.
