The Rundown: Merlin and Gatsby find the mysterious Ulysses, but there are bigger secrets to uncover.

Merlin and Gatsby find themselves on the run from the agents of the Observatory and barely manage to get away after contacting Ulysses who directs them to a safe house. After finding a safe place to hold up, Gatsby decides to track down their mysterious benefactor as he and Merlin get to know each other better.

After discovering where Ulysses is hiding, the pair head to the location and discover that Ulysses is a former member of the Observatory who needs the asset Merlin stole to bring them down. When they are located by the Observatory agents, Merlin and Gatsby find themselves in a standoff where Gatsby discovers a shocking secret about the organization’s top enforcer.

The Story: The writers ramp up the action, thrills and intrigue throughout the issue and I love both the action and the interactions between Merlin and Gatsby. There is a wonderful buildup of tension and suspense throughout the story and the story culminates in an awesome cliffhanger filled with surprises. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Sanna delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and there is great details throughout the action.
