Deron GenerallyCryptTV is partnering with 60 Second Docs to bring viewers a look at one of the innovators behind one of the biggest box office hits of this year.
Alec Gillis is well-known in the world of special effects. His pioneering work on films like Tremors and the Alien franchises have garnered Gillis and his company Amalgamated Dynamics success and recognition in Hollywood, including an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for the film Death Becomes Her.
In the new documentary short Monster Maker, Gillis discusses his latest work on the highly successful horror film IT as well as the process of creating the monsters that scare us on the screen.
