The Rundown: Harker attempts to escape as Dracula makes his next move.

Jonathan Harker has been captured by the mortal forces and undergoes rigorous torture as they seek answers to where the vampire city of London is located. At the same time, Lucy returns to her superiors to seek permission to go hunting for Harker and bring him home. Renfield makes a play that reveals all of his secrets.

Harker fights to escape but discovers how determined the mortal forces of Dracula are. In London, Lucy goes to see Mina to tell her what happened to her fiancé and discovers that Dracula himself is in the city and is searching for the king of the vampires.

The Story: Golden and Lebbon continue to craft an interesting and unique take on the Dracula legend. The story has some great drama and suspense throughout it and I really enjoyed the twist with Dracula and Mina as well as the twisted version of Harker’s escape. The revelations regarding the king and his connection to history is interesting and I look forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

The Art: Bergting delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I really love the visual style and the brilliantly detailed art on every page.
