Ever since the announcement that there would be a New Warriors series coming to FreeForm, fans have been speculating and fancasting who they want to play the heroes. Well, The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive on the cast of the new series.

According to their story, here is the cast of Marvel’s New Warriors.

Milana Vayntrub has been cast as the Invincible Squirrel Girl in the series. Vayntrub is known for her role on the series This is Us as well as her appearances as the spokesperson for AT&T.


Derek Theler will play Mister Immortal on the series. A highly trained acrobat with the ability to resurrect when killed. Theler is a veteran of FreeForm with his previous role on the series Baby Daddy.

Jeremy Tardy will take on the role of Night Thraser. An armored acrobat and martial artist with the ability to hack computer systems. Tardy was last seen in the Netflix series Dear White People.


Calum Worthy is Speedball. A superhero who can generate a protective force field along with energy blasts. Worthy is known for his role of Dez on Disney’s Austin & Ally.


Matthew Moy plays Microbe. A character who can communicate with and control bacteria, germs and microbes. Moy is known for his role on the series 2 Broke Girls.


Kate Comer will play Debrii. A telekinetic who is still learning to use her powers. Comer has been previously featured on series like Veep, Shameless and The Comeback.

New Warriors has been picked up straight to series with its first ten episode season. Showrunner Kevin Beigel stated, “I am thrilled beyond belief to be working with this incredible group of actors. They are funny, sincere, eager, charming and perfectly embody these characters. It’ll be a blast and an honor to create this show with each of them. ”

Marvel Head of TV Jeph Loeb said in a statement, “We’re so lucky to have assembled such a diverse and incredibly talented cast,” Loeb said. “We can’t wait for the fans to see what’s in store when we unleash these iconic characters into the world!”
