The Rundown: The Guildmasters continue their investigation and settle on a suspect.
In the aftermath of the attacks on Ravnica, Zarek, Kaya and Vraska meet to discuss and share information. As they begin to put the pieces together, they realize that one of their own might have been the target and immediately head to the healers to check on the injured Jace. After discovering the extent of his injuries, they are attacked again nd must both defend themselves and their comrade from another group of assassins.
When they are unable to get answers from the killers, the type of attack leads them to a suspect. A suspect that will require a meeting of the Guildpact. After dealing with their individual guilds, the Guildmasters meet with the Guildpact to discuss recent events. A meeting that will lead to suspicion of the only guild not represented.
The Story: This is a great follow up to an exciting first issue. There are elements of intrigue and mystery throughout the story and MacKay does a great job of building and fleshing out this world and its characters through great dialogue and exposition. I was immersed in this world and engaged in the story and its characters. The pace of the story is amazing and each character has a distinct and interesting personality.
The Art: Ig Guara has an immersive and brilliant artistic style and it comes through in the action as well as the expressive and beautifully detailed characters.
