The Rundown: Sara and Max get closer, but their emerging powers will bring them unwanted attention.

Sara continues to get used to her new powers with Max and they keep trying to hide it from others. When Max asks her to come out after hours with him, she reveals her feelings for him right before the two of them are caught using their powers, separated and knocked out.

The next day, Sara sees what the results of the surgery are on one of their classmates and she realizes that Max has been forced to take pills to remove his powers. Realizing that Max is next for surgery, Sara decides to tell the other kids about her powers in order to get all of them to realize that they need to escape.

The Story: Orellana continues to craft an engaging and entertaining limited series. This issue does a great job of moving the story forward in an interesting way blending both romance and raising the personal and emotional stakes for the characters. I love the buildup of tension throughout the story and look forward to seeing the story take a big swing going forward.

The Art: Orellana delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I really enjoy the visual style of the series and how visually emotional the story continues to be.
