Blumhouse Films continues to dominate the horror film genre with their growing roster of hit films including Get Out, Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious among others. This fall, they take audiences back to the house of a horror classic with new screams for a new generation.

Forty years after the events of the original Amityville Horror film chilled audiences, a new family has moved into 112 Ocean Avenue in the new film Amityville: The Awakening. The film boasts an all-star class including Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Bella Thorne (Scream), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless, Gotham), Taylor Spreitler (Days of Our Lives), Mckenna Grace (Gifted) and Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon A Time).

The film follows Belle (Bella Thorne) and her family after they move into their new home, but when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house, Belle begins to suspect her mother (Jennifer Jason Leigh) isn’t telling her everything. She soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house where between illusion and reality lies evil.

Dimension Films is also offering a unique way to watch Amityville: The Awakening. The film will debut exclusively for free for a limited time on Google Play* on October 12, 2017 and will also be released by Dimension Films in select theaters on October 28, 2017.
