While fans of the CW’s DC Universe of shows spend the next few months speculating on what will happen to their favorite returning characters and what new characters will they get to see, the CW has announced the premiere dates for their returning shows.

Supergirl

When we last left Kara, she was in a battle for the fate of the planet against Rhea. With the fate of the world in the balance, Kara makes a decision to save the planet, but at a cost. Season 3 of the series will see the introduction of a new threat to National City and the world from Kryptonian worldkiller Reign. Supergirl returns for its third season Monday October 9 at 8pm ET/PT.

The Flash

Another emotional finale saw Barry Allen and Team Flash finally take down Savitar. With Iris safe and the team taking a moment to honor the fallen H.R., there is a massive storm in Central City. Barry realizes that this is a speed force storm and he says good-bye to his loved ones before following a vision of his mother into the speed force itself. With The Thinker being all but confirmed to be the big bad next season, Barry will definitely be returning. The question is when and in what state. The Flash returns for its 4th season October 10 at 8pm ET/PT.

Legends of Tomorrow

With Rip Hunter gone (…again), the Legion of Doom defeated and Sara as the new captain of the Waverider, the Legends found themselves in present day Los Angeles as they have to deal with dinosaurs and other time displaced objects. With the inclusion of a new Legend by the name of Zari Tomaz (the real name of DC Comics character Isis), it looks like the team might end up dabbling in the world of magic in the new season. Legends of Tomorrow returns for its 3rd season immediately following The Flash on October 10 at 9pm ET/PT.

Arrow

Oliver Queen has taken on enemies in Star City both human and supernatural and in the 5th season of the hit series, Oliver and his makeshift new team take it back to where it all began to rescue Team Arrow and take down Prometheus. With Oliver learning some really tough life lessons and new responsibilities as a father, how will he return to the life he once knew and what will life be like for him going into season 6. Arrow begins its 6th season October 12 at 9pm ET/PT.
