The Rundown: Hellboy must rescue the woman he loves before she is used to unlock dark powers.

Anastasia has been taken and Hellboy is confronted by Sheffield who reveals that not only is he working for the group that took her, but that he has a warning for Hellboy to stay away from the dig site before he disappears.

After placing a call back to the B.P.R.D., Hellboy makes his way to the site as Anastasia is told that she will be made a sacrifice and that her research has uncovered something that will give a dangerous cult tremendous power. Hellboy will have to act fast if he is to stop the ritual and save the woman he loves.

The Story: Mignola and Golden bring this story to an action packed, thrilling and entertaining conclusion. The story has great pacing and action throughout and brings together all of the elements of the previous stories in a way that makes the resolution exciting for the reader. I really enjoy these stories and look forward to seeing more from this series.

The Art: Nieto crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. From the character designs to the action, everything looks fantastic.
