The Rundown: Gem fights for information and Higgs makes a transformation.
The issue begins in the recent past as the ailing Higgs gets an introduction to the man that will be his savior for the right price. A price he decides to pay while protecting his investment. In the present, Gem finds herself fighting against the killer coming after her and manages to subdue one while getting valuable information from the other.
Higgs taking his cure directly from the source creates an indestructible creature that has set his sights on taking out all opposition friend and foe alike and Gem finds herself getting an unexpected ally who discovers who she is really working for.
The Story: A thrilling story that raises the stakes and the tension for the characters. I love both the action and the thrills throughout the plot as well as how the world continues to grow and evolve. Gem has some dangerous people coming for her and I cannot wait to see how she deals with them.
The Art: Prenzy has a fantastic artistic style that beautifully balances both action and character.
