We are still a year away from the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp, but could the latest images from Disney’s D23 Expo hint that there may be something coming from the production to the fan expo?
Ant-Man and the Wasp began filming this month and there is already speculation on the script, villains and tone of the sequel starting ahead of this month’s D23 Expo. With Marvel Studios expected to have a massive showing at the event, the presentation of information regarding their upcoming slate of movies is sure to attract a lot of attention. Not to mention the 90 minute long presentation the studio plans to have at this years San Diego Comic Con.
In anticipation of the event, Twitter user and Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor Andy Park posted a pic that seems to feature the final look of Evangeline Lilly’s The Wasp costume.

In other Ant-Man and the Wasp news, after the announcement of Randall Park as S.H.I.E.L.D agent Jimmy Woo, there is also news that another comic based character might be added to the cast. The production is said to be looking for “a highly intelligent African-American male between 55-65.” The description has led many to speculate that the new movie might be including Bill Foster, former colleague of Hank Pym who becomes the superhero Goliath.
The age of the actor would fit a connection to Michael Douglas’ Pym and considering Scott Lang’s experimenting with growth in Captain America: Civil War, it might not be too far-fetched for the new hero to be working with an old colleague of the original Ant-Man to perfect the change.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to be released July 6, 2018.
