The CW is pulling out all the stops for their upcoming crossover event based on the classic DC Comic event Crisis on Infinite Earths. With a story crossing over to every DC Comics series on the network, it also looks like the crossover event will feature characters from throughout the history of DC Comics on television.
According to Deadline, actress Erica Durance will reprise her role of Lois Lane in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover coming to the CW. Durance played the character for 10 years on the CW series alongside Tom Welling’s Clark Kent. The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover is said to have multiple iterations of Clark and Lois and will include the return of Tyler Hoechlin and Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh returning as the big screen version of Superman he played in Superman Returns.
Durance is no stranger to the current iteration of DC superheroes currently gracing the small screen. She returned to the DC Universe in the recurring role of Supergirl’s mother Alura Zor-El.
The five episode Crisis on Infinite Earths will span Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and the upcoming Batwoman series. The first three episodes will air this December with the following two installments airing in January.
