The Party has been captured and are being held beneath the city of Angria. Ash may be gagged, but that doesn’t stop the rest of them from asking questions about the world and how its changed. Unable to answer, they turn to Sol for them. Unfortunately, he is not the most reliable narrator.

When a mystery woman enters the prison, they recognize her, but not her part in this story.

Story becomes the topic when the woman finally speaks and weaves a tale for the heroes about love, loss and belief. A story that will change everything they know about DIE, Sol and each other.

The Story: This issue is filled with intensity both in its tone and its dialogue. All of the dialogue and the story told to the party signifies that everything is about to change for them individually and collectively. I continue to be enamored with this story and the directions it takes because they are both familiar and completely unique at the same time. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.

The Art: Stephanie Hans brings more beautiful and haunting imagery to life in this issue. The tone is somber, but filled with energy and beauty throughout.
