The Rundown: A superhero company deals with all manner of threats in the city.

In the streets of the city, Bolt finds himself confronting a would-be villain before reporting in to work at Capes Incorporated to train a recruit named Kid Thor. As his boss and friend gives him his assignment, Bolt takes the young hero under his wing and shows him the ropes before heading out to see his wife.
The head of Capes Inc. gives the night shift their assignments after a hero thought lost in time returns and at the local supervillain prison, a daring escape will test the night shift as they are called into action.
The Story: Kirkman creates a fun, entertaining story in this first issue. It does a great job of introducing the characters, their conflicts and their world. I was engaged with Bolt and the other stories that are being teased in this first issue and I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Englert delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style as well as the character designs.
