According to an Exclusive in Deadline, actors Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford are exiting the series as regulars in season 5. “Brandon and Courtney have been invaluable members of the Legends family,” series executive producers Phil Klemmer,  Grianne Godfree and Keto Shimizu said in a statement.

Routh made his debut on Arrow as inventor Ray Palmer/ The Atom and recurred on both Arrow and The Flash until boarding the new series Legends of Tomorrow. Routh has been a member of the main cast since the first season and his real-life wife Courtney Ford joined the series in a recurring role in season three before becoming a regular for season 4 as Nora Dahrk, daughter of villain Damian Dahrk.

Their characters have been romantically linked on the series and their storyline will be concluded as part of their exit. As with other stars, Routh and Ford have the opportunity to return to the series as other departing stars have and fans of the show can look forward to seeing Routh step into his previous role as the Man of Steel in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
