The Rundown: Trish continues to investigate the disappearance of her friend and discovers something dark.
The night Jackie disappeared, she and Trish go to a party with older men and Trish continues to be uncomfortable for many reasons including the dark voice in her head. When she tries to get Jackie to leave, they have a confrontation that leads Trish years later to confront the man Jackie was with that night. A man who tells her what happened as well as what he went through because of it.
In the aftermath of her conversation, she finds that voice leading her to something else. Something that brings her back to that night and a moment that changed everything between the two of them. A moment that will lead Trish to a dark discovery.
The Story: Lemire crafts an entertaining and engaging story with a fantastic mystery at its center. A mystery that continues to unfold in a way that keeps me riveted as I experience every twist and turn. The plot is fantastic and I loved the way the tension in the story ebbs and flows in ways that make me excited to see what comes next.
The Art: Sorrentino delivers amazing art in the issue. The visual style perfectly captures the tone of the story and delivers great emotion.
