The Rundown: With her secrets exposed, Samantha Strong will leave Woodbrook, but not without sending a message.

Samantha Strong’s crimes have been revealed and she is preparing to leave town. Unfortunately for Woodbrook, she is not going to go quietly. She has prepared for this eventuality and it begins with an explosion at City Hall at the same time she sets fire to her store with herself and Monica in the basement after she killed the sheriff.
As the fire spreads throughout the town, people begin to panic, but they also rally together to help others. Samantha leaves Monica to die in the building after revealing something about her brother and she discovers that her escape plan has hit a snag. After finding a new way out of town, Samantha heads away from Woodbrook as the town is engulfed in flames.
The Story: Horvath brings this story to an exciting and entertaining conclusion. There are so many great layers of storytelling in this issue and the dynamic between Samantha and the other characters is brilliant. I love the tension throughout this issue as the reader sees what is happening to both Samantha and the town and the parallels between both.
The Art: Horvath crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. The imagery brilliantly elevates the story.
