The Rundown: Batman and Superman’s search for David will bring them face to face with their dark doubles.

Trapped on a world unaware of the multiverse, Batman and Superman battle David aka Thunderman who blames them for his being stuck on this planet and will do anything to destroy them. Unfortunately, his time on the planet has gained him the trust of this world’s Superman and Batman who attempt to take out their doubles.

With the heroes being evenly matched by their double, Batman and Superman barely escape and look for a place they can lay low and plan. What they discover too late is that there is someone else pulling the strings of their doubles and David. Someone who will send the full might of the League to bring down the multiverse intruders.

The Story: Waid crafts a thrilling adventure filled with twists and surprises throughout. The story has some interesting takes on the world of Kingdom Come and the characters themselves. The story is incredible entertaining and filled with great action throughout and has some great moments that make me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Mora delivers some beautifully detailed art that perfectly captures the thrills and action of the story. A visually exciting story from start to finish.
