The Rundown: Bruce Wayne continues to chronicle his early adventures and the evolution of his philosophy.

The future Bruce Wayne continues to chronicles his adventures as Batman from the nursing home he lives in. An adventure that will have him question his own philosophy in the face of a strange and changing Gotham being destroyed by the False Face society using Wayne Enterprises as its public face.

Bruce decides to use his time and resources to research what’s really going on at his father’s company while also relying more on Gordon. At the same time, his enemies put a bigger target on both their backs and Batman finds himself being introduced to a larger world of heroes by Superman.

The Story: Russell continues to create an intriguing history for the Dark Knight in this series. The story takes some unexpected twists and turns for the character while creating new and interesting things for him to face. Russell crafts an engaging personal story for Bruce in this story that gives him a bigger perspective on both the world and his own mission. I continue to be intrigued with this story and look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Allred delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The action is wonderfully fluid and captures the tone of the story perfectly.
