The Rundown: The Quiet Man is revealed as Scarface makes his return to the Gotham underworld.

Albert Wesker heads to the GCPD to pick up some old things and leaves bodies in his wake as the truth about the Quiet Man is revealed. After Batman and Robin learn about the man and the circumstances that led to his son’s death, they leave the prison with Damian forcing a confrontation with Bruce about the parallels between the Quiet Man’s story and Bruce’s own life.
After coming to an understanding, the two determine where Wesker will strike next as the Ventriloquist and Scarface return to seize the Gotham underworld. As they move into position, the Quiet Man makes a play at escape while Scarface prepares to take out the Penguin.
The Story: Johnson continues to craft a brilliantly evolving and compelling mystery in this arc. I love the rising tension throughout the story not just from Scarface’s actions, but also from Damian confronting his father about the Quiet Man. I really like the mixture of action and intrigue throughout the story and the issue ends on a perfectly balanced cliffhanger that positions multiple characters for what could be an explosive confrontation.
The Art: Ossio creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. The visual style is beautiful and the character designs are great. I love the use of shadow throughout and how it enhances the mood of the story.
