The Rundown: Bruce and Damian have a rare night out as a new threat emerges in Gotham.

A man known only as Cy is released from prison and after paying a visit to a grave, he gathers his belongings and heads to Gotham. In the city, Tiger Shark is making a play for Penguin’s territory when he is intercepted in a coordinated takedown by Batman and Robin.
In the aftermath of the mission, Bruce decides to take Damian out to a movie while Penguin and his men celebrate Tiger Shark’s defeat. As they revel in their win, Cy arrives to meet with Penguin and leaves a trail of bodies in his wake.
The Story: Johnson creates a dark, engaging and entertaining story in this issue. The story opens with great action, thrills and a wonderful mystery at the center with the introduction of this new character. I like the partner dynamic and how it is balanced with the father/son dynamic in the story and want to see more of that. The story ends on a wonderful cliffhanger that has me excited for the next issue.
The Art: Ossio delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the highly detailed and visually engaging art on every page.
