The Rundown: Superboy is still learning to use his powers as he discovers that there might be a limit to them.

Clark is still learning about his powers after a speed test around the world that will require the creation of a brand new suit. After returning to school, he has an unexpected meeting with Lana that will lead to a date and an unwanted revelation before he gets a call from Captain Comet that people need help.
After rocketing away, he discovers a villain he previously battled going after Doc Magnus with friends. Unfortunately, his battle with the trio will expose him to an unknown element that he is unfamiliar with and put him in the crosshairs of General Lane and his forces.
The Story: Waid crafts a fun, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to enjoy returning to these moments from Clark’s past and this story has some great moments for Clark both in discovering who he is and who he can trust. There are some great action moments in the story as well and I really loved the cliffhanger ending of the story.
The Art: Partridge delivers great art throughout the story. The imagery is beautifully detailed and gives the feeling of those silver age comics in looks and aesthetic.
