The Rundown: as Aquaman and Flash battle and intergalactic terror as secrets threaten to destroy their team up.

The Flash and Aquaman stand as the last two members of the Justice League against an alien threat that has frozen the planet. Unfortunately, this unlikely duo finds themselves dealing with not only an unknown threat but also their own inability to work together. With Arthur opting for the direct approach in dealing with the aliens, Barry continues to find other means of trying to stop them using weapons at his disposal. A plan that causes more strife between the pair.

Both heroes decide to finally start working together and their next trip is going to be to Atlantis. After discovering the supercomputer that Mera has been building beneath the city, Barry and Arthur see the full scope of the threat to the planet. Unfortunately, the partnership comes under threat when Barry discovers the truth about what Atlantis has been working on and how it is connected directly to him.

The Story: Kelly and Lanzing continue to craft an entertaining story with two heroes that have always been part of a team, but have rarely been paired with each other. It’s interesting to see the interactions between the two of them and their conflict makes for some great dramatic moments. I like that the story is evolving to showcase the secrets Arthur keeps as king and how those secrets will affect his partnership with the Flash. I am excited to see where the story goes next.

The Art: Georgiev delivers some great art in the issue. The visual style is unique and adds some interesting and visually dynamic action to the issue.
