The Rundown: Lily, Winter and Gramps learn more about the alien while someone discovers that one is still alive.

The population continues to deal with the sudden and strange alien invasion that resulted in all of the aliens dying as soon as they appeared. At the nursing home, one of Gramps’ fellow residents discovers the living alien in the facility, but no one will believe him until he brings them proof. Proof he will use one of the orderlies to help him obtain.

At the same time, the kids and Gramps learn more from the alien as it reveals more knowledge to them. Knowledge that could change everyone’s perspective on many things. When the kids leave to finish out the school year, Winter gets a call from Gramps telling him that their alien friend has gone missing.

The Story: Soma crafts a fun, interesting world for the reader in this series and this issue does a great job of continuing to build the world of this story and add new and engaging conflicts within it. I like the lighter tone of this story and how it continues to focus on these characters while keeping the mystery of the invasion vague, but intriguing.

The Art: Broglia delivers some great art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this story a lot and it beautifully captures the tone and mood of the series.
