Actor Alan Tudyk is no stranger to genre television, especially the DC Comics universe and his next role will see him return to both.

According to Deadline, Alan Tudyk has taken the role as the villain in the DC Universe streaming service series Doom Patrol. Tudyk will be taking on the role of Eric Morden aka Mr. Nobody on the live action series from Warner Brothers Television and producer Greg Berlanti.

Morden was the subject of post WWII experiments by ex-Nazi scientists in Paraguay. The experiments turn Morden into a living shadow with the ability to drain the sanity from others. It should be interesting to see how Nobody interacts with Doom Patrol member Crazy Jane, played by Diane Guerrero.

Tudyk is known for his roles in the cult classic sci-fi series Firefly and its big screen film Serenity. He has also starred in films like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and was recently featured as a member of the cast of the cancelled DC Comics based office comedy series Powerless on NBC. Doom Patrol is expected to premiere in 2019 on DC Universe.
