The Rundown: A disillusioned teacher forms a club with his students that quickly gets out of hand.

Mr. Kelly has become disillusioned with his life and his career as a teacher at Briarwood Academy. After seeing one of the schools star athletes have a tough day himself, he decides to team up with the student to create a club where kids can commit themselves to each other, a vision and being their best selves.

The club quickly gains more followers and the kids not only excel in class, but become a force for change at the school. What Mr. Kelly and Andrew slowly begin to realize is that the club will do anything to protect itself and its members. Things that include violence and even murder all for the sake of the club.

The Story: Hendrix crafts a goofy, but entertaining story in this issue. It has an interesting premise and executes it well. I like the tone of the story and how organically it gets to its climax, but the payoff was a little too abrupt and lacked any of the tension that was created within the story.

The Art: Zawadzki crafts an entertaining and compelling art in the issue. It showcases the tension really well with the moments of club members in the background of scenes like an ominous presence to the character being featured.
