The Rundown: Diana battles Scylla for the fate of her mother and Barbara makes a choice.

Scylla has taken Diana’s mother Circe and placed her on the side of a cliff. As the woman hangs there bound, Diana prepares for battle against Scylla and her minions. As the two battle, she waits for Circe to free herself and the two attempt to escape. Unfortunately, their escape will require Diana to call on Hecate who intervenes, but has harsh words for Circe.

At the same time, Barbara continues to sit in a cell with the dead body of Cheetah as the spirit within the body continues to entice and ensnare her. As Barbara thinks on her own life and her friendship with Diana, she finally makes a decision. A decision that will change the dynamic between them possibly forever.

The Story: Thompson continues to craft a thrilling, thoughtful and engaging story in this issue. I loved not only the action in the issue, but the world building and character moments for both Diana and Barbara. There is great tension throughout the story and everything builds to some great emotional moments for Diana and a great mystery for Barbara.

The Art: Snook crafts some great art throughout the issue. I really like the visual style of the action throughout the issue.
