The Rundown: As Batman fights for his life, one of his allies reveals a connection to his greatest enemy.

Young Harley Quinn thinks back on her childhood and the secrets that her mother is keeping from her. At the same time, adult Harley is trying to get through to Batman as the two fight their way through the GCPD trying to kill them in the wake of the Robins attack. She continues to recount her story to him as the two are trying to escape the Robins.
She reveals a dark secret that she learned about her mother. A dark secret connected to experiments her mother was conducting below their home and their connection to Jack Grimm. As the pair escape, Bruce is forced to confront another secret from his past. One that will not stay buried and will change everything about his mission.
The Story: Snyder continues to bring this world, these characters and the reader to some dark, disturbing and brilliantly engaging places in this story. I love every reveal, connection and surprise that the story hits the reader with and have been endlessly speculating on what these revelations mean for Batman and his allies as they deal with Grimm, Scarecrow and more. There are some amazing twists and turns throughout this story and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Werther Dell’Edera delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how beautifully it matches the tone of the story.
