The Rundown: Etrigan emerges only to find himself hunted by his siblings.

In the aftermath of the fall of Camelot, a new leader is rounding up anyone who either uses magic, has loyalty to the missing Merlin or was connected to Morgaine. Jason Blood continues to act in his capacity of banishing demons back to the pit and that gets unwanted attention. Unwanted attention that forces him to leave the failing city and seek a new path.
In the present, Etrigan is confronted by one of his siblings who threatens to return him to the pit as another attacks the weakened demon. As the three fight, Etrigan is saved by someone summoning the demons away and Blood emerges to find himself getting a message from Merlin as Morgaine learns the demon is still alive.
The Story: Harren crafts a dark, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I love this follow up and how it continues to build both the world and the emotional journeys of the characters. I love the contrasts between Jason’s journey and Etrigan’s and how both stories are converging emotionally. I would have liked to see more of Morgaine in the story because her struggle is interesting as well.
The Art: Harren delivers some great art in this issue. I love the character designs and how the art captures the tone and mood of the story.
