The Rundown: Jian and her team track their quarry to a mysterious island and unknown danger.

With the team split, two of the operatives go missing and the rest of the team is scrambling to find out why and where they went. At the same time, Dr. Szasz completes the final test of his prototype and readies his group to begin the final preparations for his machine.

Jian and the remaining members of the team discover the missing operatives last known location and get fresh intel about where Szasz and his machine are located. Flying off to a mysterious island, the team infiltrates and are ambushed by two enhanced killers. Jian uses the distraction to sneak into the hidden base and discovers that the machine is ready and time is running out.

The Story: Mignola and Roberson craft a fun, entertaining spy thriller in this issue. It hits on all the spy conventions in fun ways and the characters are compelling and engaging. I really enjoyed the action throughout the issue and there is some fun suspense in the story that kept me interested both in what I was reading and what could possibly happen next.

The Art: Michael Avon Oeming delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot and how wonderfully detailed both the action and the world of the story are.
