The Rundown: Castor and Paul are forced to reveal the truth when their lives are on the line.

In the aftermath of the brothers successfully cheating their way to victory at a poker game, Castor decides to celebrate with a couple of willing young ladies while Paul tries to connect with a young woman named Minah over dinner. Unfortunately, Paul’s brother finds a way to ruin the date and things get worse when the man Castor beat sends his goons to find Paul.
Paul goes on the run and eventually makes his way back to the hotel where the mob boss confronts and kidnaps the brothers. After torturing the pair, Paul finally tells them to truth. A truth that will make their lives more complicated and dangerous while dragging Minah into their mess.
The Story: Derek Kirk Kim crafts a thrilling, entertaining and fun story in this issue. I love the frustrating and funny dynamic between these two brothers and there are some great moments with them both apart and together. I like that the stakes are being raised throughout this issue and the reveal towards the end of the issue opens up the story to some big, bold and unexpected moments to come for the characters.
The Art: Perez creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. There are some great visual moments both during the chase scene and the torture scenes.
