The Rundown: Sara continues to track Aphrodite and discovers a potentially bigger threat.

Years ago, Jake is brought out to the desert where he is threatened with what will happen to him if he continues his investigation into the death of a CEO. In the present, Sara makes her way to ASI Headquarters to speak to the new CEO who delights in showing her his growing army of human like robots.
After dressing down the man, Sara decides to use the Witchblade to sneak into the building and continue her investigation. After finding Jake, the pair find themselves facing off against security robots right before Aphrodite is awakened and sent to stop them.
The Story: I have been consistently impressed with the tone of this arc, but I was a little disappointed in this particular issue. It wasn’t a particularly bad story. It just didn’t live up to the buildup of the previous issue. The action is great, but I was expecting more in the interactions with the other characters and events happened too fast to give context to the emotions for the reader. I do like the cliffhanger a lot and look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Cafaro delivers beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue.
