The Rundown: Batman decides that the way to fight a plague of courage is with fear.

The Lion reveals that he has already released the courage virus on the city and everyone is infected. It is causing the citizens to lose their fears and inhibitions both in good and bad ways. As Leo gloats over what he has been able to accomplish, Robin is hurt and Batgirl is missing. Batman decides to counteract the virus within him by injecting himself with some of Scarecrow’s fear toxin.

The citizens of Gotham have decided to take to the streets no longer afraid of Savage and his violent police force. Unfortunately, the police are not afraid of the citizens either and Savage orders his men to stop them by any means. Batman must find a way to work through his fear to stop Leo as well as unleash fear toxin on the city to stop the impending attack to give him and his team time to find a cure.

The Story: Taylor brings this story to a thrilling, exciting and entertaining conclusion. I love the twists throughout the story as well as the rise in tension and suspense. There are great character moments for Batman in the story as well as great moments of action and adventure. I love the pacing of this story a lot and the end creates some interesting moments for Bruce and Leo.

The Art: Janin delivers beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot and the action is amazing.
