The Rundown: Diana faces a dangerous new force who comes to challenge her publicly.

Diana is plagued by dreams of her time with Aphrodite. As she awakens, she realizes something is coming. Steve finds himself defending his relationship to Wonder Woman to the government and makes a choice about what he will serve in the future.
When Diana attends the opening of a new wing of the museum created by Barbara, she thinks of her time with another goddess and wants to know why Aphrodite abandoned her. She doesn’t have much time to think when the museum is attacked by the Suicide Squad led by Zatanna and Diana realizes too late that her new enemy is in control of her powers.
The Story: Thompson continues to create a brilliantly complex and engaging character and story in this series. I love the pace of this story and how engaging Diana continues to be. I really found myself immersed in her struggle and the final moments of the story are both exciting and intense for Diana as the story leads to a cliffhanger that guarantees that I will be coming back to more.
The Art: Sherman creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue.
