The Rundown: Peter continues to work on his case while a bigger threat comes to the city.

Rival gangs are spraying bullets all over the city and Spider-Man is on the case to bring them down. In the aftermath, Peter returns to his office to meet with Gwen as he continues to investigate the death of her father and his role in it.

After meeting with an old school friend, Peter gets a visit from Mary Jane who talks to him about the things he fears in telling Gwen the truth before he finds himself at a fascist get together in the city that is sporting some unusual security.

The Story: Larsen creates some great moments for Peter in this issue. I like the underlying mystery at the heart of this story and how Larsen moves the characters throughout it. The old school detective noir elements of the world work beautifully and I continue to love the characters and the world they inhabit.

The Art: Broccardo delivers beautifully detailed and visually impressive art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the character designs are fantastic.
