The Rundown: The order trying to kill Hellboy decides on a new tactic as Hellboy continues to

With their attempt to kill young Hellboy thwarted, the Brothers of Desolation decide on a new tactic. At the same time, Hellboy tries to get used to his new surroundings, but something else might be wrong with him. Something that might be connected with his last adventure. Meanwhile, the Brothers of Desolation call upon another one of their members. One that is too close for comfort.

As Hellboy is sent to bed to deal with his oncoming illness, Brother Robert begins his mission to kill the child. A mission that will bring him to the BPRD, but someone else is waiting to visit young Hellboy. Someone who wants to take him on a grand adventure.

The Story: Mignola and Sniegoski immediately got my attention with this issue. I love that it comes on the heels of the last adventure and how it is incorporating a sect devoted only to killing Hellboy. The story raises the stakes a lot and I love how it uses the character of Robert by showing his journey and how dangerous things are going to get for Hellboy.

The Art: Rosseau delivers some impressive visuals throughout the issue. I love the contrasting stories and how they are visually represented. A great looking issue from start to finish.
