The Rundown: The X-Men continue their war against Orchis and Cyclops reveals the truth behind the war.

Sebastian Shaw is playing both sides and preparing to back whoever wins the final battle. A battle he will begin in Madripoor. After sending in the Reavers to take out mutant squatters, his forces find themselves not only facing the X-Men but also compromising the location of a high value target. One that the mutants will get some unexpected help in bringing down.

At the same time, Cyclops finds himself held by Nimrod and has time to tell Emma and the others about the real reason behind the war between mutants and humanity including what is waiting in the wings when it’s all over.

The Story: Duggan creates a story filled with great action, adventure and suspense. I love not knowing where the story is going next and how each moment with the characters catches my attention. I love the pace of the story and how each part of it connects with the others while giving certain character awesome moments to shine.

The Art: Cassara delivers beautiful art that brilliantly captures the characters, emotion and tone of every scene.

I want to love this comic book, but every time I open a X-Men comic, i have no idea what is going on.
