The Rundown: Diana’s move to Boston will get the attention of a tenacious and suspicious detective.

Wonder Woman finds herself staring down the barrel of a gun in her new home in Boston and decides to talk to the officer threatening to arrest her rather than fight. When she discovers that Detective Nora Nunes has been sent to assess if Diana is s threat, the two agree to let Nora follow her for a day to determine if she is or not.

Diana meets up with Etta and Nora sees that Wonder Woman is helping with a relief effort in the wake of a series of freak storms ravaging the area. When Diana investigates, she discovers that the Dark Fates are behind the storm and have more planned for Diana and the Amazons.

The Story: A well done short issue that introduces a new character and arc for the character. Orlando delivers some interesting character moments and reinforces the things that make Wonder Woman a compelling character as well as continues the promise of her new mission. Having the story take this turn and give Diana a respite is good and I look forward to what happens next for the character, especially with the threat of the Dark Fates and others converging.

The Art: Jan Duursema delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The action is great and Duursema does an amazing job of framing a scene with detailed backgrounds. A great looking issue.
