The fourth film in the Matrix franchise is coming this month both in theater and on HBO Max and Warner Brothers has released a brand new action filled trailer for fans of the sci-fi blockbuster.

The latest trailer connects more of the film to the legacy of the series and establishes that this story isn’t just about Neo. It reveals that both Neo and Trinity could be the key to ending the war with the machines. Filled with great action and visual flair, the trailer also brings back some characters from the original trilogy while giving nods to others. Check it out and let me know what you think.

The Matrix Rescurrections will be in theaters nationwide and on HBO Max via the Ad-Free plan on December 22, 2021; it will be available on HBO Max in 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos (English only) on supported devices for 31 days from theatrical release.
